One Year on the Road

It had really cute little buildings/rooms.

No one was around, but it was all well maintained.

They had cabins overlooking the river.

On the way to the campground, Kate rescued a turtle from the road.

It was very beautiful (and heavy!).

The campground we stayed at was a little rundown but fine for us.

We stayed up on are above the river.

There were braver campers who stayed right on the Comal River (across from the stadium).

We were right next to train tracks.

The engineer waves at me while Kate drives under the trestle.

The Comal River was high but not fast, so Bailey could swim.

One day we drove into San Antonio and walked along the River Walk.

It was so hot, we encouraged her to get wet.
