One Year on the Road

We stopped at an Air Force Base park.

It was closed to the public, but someone in charge let us stop there for lunch.

Bailey and Gypsy got their first taste of the Florida Gulf.

Mexico Beach was right on the highway and you could park anywhere along the road.

The soft white sand beaches Florida is famous for.

Dogs aren&#039;t allowed, but no one was there, and Bailey got a few runs in.

Next stop was St. George Island.

I used to go there and a teenager and none of this was there.

Bailey and Gypsy take the boardwalk to the beach.

We don&#039;t have herons on Oregon beaches.

This was Gypsy&#039;s first real sandy beach.

She was checking it all out.

We just about had the beach to ourselves.

Such a nice neighborhood, if underdeveloped.

Our second evening, we hung out together.

Bailey was a little overwhelmed by the crowd.
