We came back to Springfield, Missouri for my Dad’s surgery and stayed several weeks.

Back to Springfield.

Dad dressed for dinner.

Back on our lovely RV service lot.

With our groundhog friends.

Gypsy keeps watch on our front yard.

Gypsy in the litter bin.

She thinks I can't see her.

She's mad to be left behind.

Watching us go.

But she always forgives us.

A reunion with Jonathon, the young man her got her out of the RV she was stuck in as a newborn.

Kate spent two days sewing.

She made a bathrobe, a shirt...

...and a baby blanket for Jonathon's new baby.

Jonathon was happy to get the blanket.

I had to take her away.

Some quiet time at Dad's.

Kate made this potholder for Dad.

And this one, too.

She made this blanket for a friend's new grandbaby.

They're so beautiful!

Gypsy still likes her plastic tub.

But she loves her carrying case.

At Dad's, Gypsy meets neighbor, Gracie.

But all she gets is a big hiss.

Such a sweet baby.

Time for another haircut!

I liked my barber.

I'd never had the hot towel treatment before.

Or the vibrating shoulder massage.

Kate quickly fashioned some slipcovers for our leatherette seats.

Because even though Gypsy can be a sweet little cuddler...

...she's also a little crazy!

Look out when you see this look.

It means trouble!

She loves boxes.

Kate refashioned this new harness for her.

My grandmother's house.

This stone post was a tower to climb when I was a kid.

My great aunt's house was down the street.

We have so many kitten photos.

She'll be grown so fast.

She got a new bed with the same material as Jonathon's baby blanket.

She likes it.

It so great when she falls asleep on you.

We visited the cemetary where my mother's side of the family is buried.

But she puts herself to bed when she's tired.

Gypsy loves to sleep on us.

One day we rode our bikes to Willard.

We had pizza for lunch before going back.

We took Bailey on a like walk on Galloway Trail.

Gypsy and Annie are pals.
