One Year on the Road

We drove right by Dollywood.

I love Dolly, but we&#039;ll skip the amusement park.

Once in the national park, there were great views.

But no place to pull over a big rig.

Low bridges always scare us.

At the highest point, we could stand in two states.

I always wanted to hike on the Appalachian Trail.

But bummer, no dogs allowed.

It was cold and windy up there.

We found this great NP campground: Smokemont.

It was right next to this creek.

Nice private spot.

We drove into Bryson City.

You can take a train from there into the mountains.

It&#039;s kind of a cute little town.

We stopped at this cute soda fountain.
