One Year on the Road

Home from our final trip, it was time to get Bessie ready to sell.

First, we had to take out all our personal decor.

All of our framed art.

The prints from an Arts Fair in San Diego.

The plaque from the Moose Festival in the Adirondacks.

The watercolor done by a friend we met in a California campground.

Photos of my mom, who made this trip possible, and the flying cat who went with us from the start.

Mom would have been happy to she had helped us make this journey.

We&#039;ll have to find a special place for our winged companion.

The prayer flags were a gift from our son.

We had to take everything out, peel off stickers, remove hooks, etc.

And then the intensive cleaning began.

We used a hair dryer to carefully remove stick-up hooks.

We scrubbed every possible hiding place for dirt: vents, fans, window tracks, etc.

Outside, we scrubbed her top...

... and bottom.

She&#039;s ready!!!

Sadly, the Bernie sticker had to go.

As did the dancing rainbow people.

Bernie finds a new home on the Saab.

At last, she&#039;s ready to go on the market.

We took photos to show slides...

And the automatic awning.

The comfy front seats with passenger footrest.

We decided to leave the TV cover Kate had made.

We just didn&#039;t want to have a giant TV dominate our living space.

It looks so spacious without all our stuff.

This coach was so absolutely comfortable for us for a year and a half.

We made use of the loft bed a few times.

We&#039;ll miss this cozy bedroom.

With a window view.

And here&#039;s where I worked on the blog all year long.

Not a bad shower at all.

Such a huge garage!

And the outdoor shower we washed Bailey in.

We will miss sweet Bessie, but life moves on and so must we.
