One Year on the Road

Old homestead on the rutted dirt road to the ranch.

Cool old barn.

A sign lets us know we&#039;re not lost.

At last, we make it to the ranch.

The overflow lot was just fine for us.

We took a walk around the place.

The lodge/dining room was nearly the same.

I swear I remember sprawling on this couch with several others.

I don&#039;t remember all the stuffed heads.

Maybe this was added; I&#039;m not sure.

The fishing pond&#039;s the same, except now they charge $7 per catch.

The fire pit is new.

Same old pool.

Same old rooms.

Same old dock on the river.

Gypsy took a little walk.

I&#039;ve never seen a woodpecker like this.

The river looks so peaceful and benign.

I don&#039;t remember these toadstool seats.

A father and daughter feed the fish.

This must have been there, but we were too old to play on it.

We were the only ones willing to tube that early.

The driver dropped us up river 2 miles.
