One Year on the Road

We arrived at the River&#039;s Edge just before sunset.

Gypsy was eager for some outdoor time.

The sun sets into the Adirondack mountains.

With corn fields in the foreground.

There were just a few people still in their RVs in the park.

There are lots of nice cabins, too.

Canoes and kayaks for rent.

We walked down to the river.

It would have been fun to canoe here.

We strolled on the dock.

Gypsy&#039;s getting pretty good with the leash.

But sometimes she likes to be carried.

Time to go home.

Bright clouds before dark.

That night, a supermoon rose.

About 9:00, the eclipse began.

We watched it from the hot tub.

Then came back and I got out the tripod for the full eclipse.

The morning was bright and warm.

Steve, our host, was so friendly.

This place is so sweet and well cared for.

Nothing like an old fashioned teeter totter.

We walked Gypsy and Bailey some more.

Here&#039;s the pool and the hot tub that we watched the ecliplse from.

Snacks and other items all on honor system.

Buddy and the cat, Otis, go in the cage when mom goes to town.

Too bad Buddy couldn&#039;t come out and play with Bailey.

Time to get back in Bessie and hit the road.
