One Year on the Road

Longmont is on the edge of the Rockies.

We parked right in front of Marianne and Prudence&#039;s house.

They are right next to train tracks.

When we arrived, Marianne was suited up for bee keeping.

A bee keeper was delivering two new swarms of bees.

He had to get them out of their temporary box...

...and into Marianne&#039;s hives.

He doesn&#039;t even use gloves!

We enjoyed wine an cheese in their front yard.

Their older dog, Archie.

Torny is only three.

Torny wastes no time getting to know Kate.

Their neighbor has gone crazy with the tulip bulbs.

I don&#039;t know what his yard looks like the rest of the year...

But it was a stunning sight in May!

Another neighbor has a large pig in their yard.

One day we drove 30 miles to Estes Park.

It was a beautiful drive.

Estes Park is up in the mountains.

We met a St. Bernard puppy.
