One Year on the Road

Nine miles of rutted dirt roads.

Over a river.

To Rock Creek Lake.

After riding in Bessie all day, the fur kids were eager for a walk.

From Bessie, we watched the day soften to night.

In the morning, Bailey and I walked all around the lake.

It was bigger than I realized.

That&#039;s us, across the way.

We were the only ones there.

These geese swam across the lake to investigate Gypsy.

Turtles in the morning sun.

We hung out a while to enjoy the sunny day.

Bailey watches over Gypsy.

And Gypsy worries about Bailey in the water.

Gypsy doesn&#039;t appreciate getting shaken on.

Bailey enjoys a good roll in the grass.

Gypsy thinks she&#039;s gone a little nuts.
