One Year on the Road

Little Colorado River Canyon.

It&#039;s between the Grand Canyon and Lee&#039;s Ferry.

Lee&#039;s Ferry is a small no reservation campground.

There were plenty of sites open.

What a backdrop!

It was just a short road down to the Colorado River.

Prickly Pear cacti were in bloom.

The shore of the river was part of the Grand Canyon National Park.

There was a beautiful white sand beach.

Bailey was happy to swim, but we kept her leashed.

Such a gorgeous place, and hardly anyone there.

On the road to the campground were some interesting rocks.

Near the turnoff for Lee&#039;s Ferry is the Navajo Bridge.

The bridges were built in 1928 and 1929.

One for cars, one for walking.

A nice walk...
