Scotrun Lake.
The Poconos are a small mountain range in Pennsylvania, popular for skiing in the winter, camping in summer. We were just driving through, and stopped at the Scotrun Thousand Trails campground for the night. There were just a handful of other campers there when we stayed, and lots of trailers that were shut up for the season. We got a nice little spot with a front end view of the campground’s small lake.

The next morning the sun was out and we went for a walk around the lake with Bailey and Gypsy. The trees were in full color, and it was a beautiful little spot. There were two outdoor pools closed up for the season, one with big slides, and I’m sure it’s a hopping place in the summer. It was kind of nice, though, to have it to ourselves. Just us and the geese.
