We got to Eugene before the renter was out of our house, so we stayed in the driveway at Kathy and Robin’s house for six days.

I love Kathy and Robin's house.

The fountain offered peaceful background sound.

Bailey and Gypsy couldn't go in the house, but they enjoyed the yard.

Just two blocks away is the public Ridgeline Trail.

Kate and I walked up one night and caught the most amazing sunset.

In the distance, mountains and lake.

We stayed till the end.

The next night, Kathy and Robin came up with me.

Loving on Bailey.

Our dear, dear friends.

Not quite so spectacular that night.

Kathy and Robin went back, but Bailey and I stayed to watch the sun sink down.

Bailey sat with me and watched the whole time.
