One Year on the Road

Our site was at the end of Easy Street.

Right next to a field.

Sand hill cranes came every day.

They stole food from a neighbor&#039;s bird feeder.

They are about four feet tall.

I watched this lone crane fly to the field.

This family had a lot to say about his appearance.

I think they were defending their territory.

When sqawking didn&#039;t work, they all flew to the intruder.

Landing in crane-like fashion.

With two weeks here, we spread out into our large space.

And made ourselves at home.

We&#039;ve visited all but five of the lower 48!

I took the fur kids for a bike ride.

Gypsy actually loved it.

The next day, she crawled in the basket and asked for more.

She loved it till she crawled in the next day and the bike fell over.

Nap time.

It was so hot, we were very happy for our canopy and shelter.

A good time for Bailey to get a bath.
