We traveled to California in a convoy with Kelly and Linda.

Kate was meeting the challenge of Highway 199 quite well.

We walked the dogs to the river for a romp and swim in the morning.

Kate offered some direction.

Ready for a new day.

And off we went.

But it was a challenge. Notice the notched-out redwood.

What a beautiful day.

This was a favorite stop when the kids were little.

But wait a minute... Did Paul have a logging accident?
